The Jackson SUW-36308 welding blanket measures 6' x 8' and uses yellow, 23oz acrylic coated fiberglass. Designed to shield nearby people and equipment during grinding, welding and flame-cutting tasks, it offers a barrier against slag, sparks and spatter. Grommets support vertical hanging as a curtain. Other intended applications include wrapping pipes and welds, containing heat, covering machinery, protecting personnel from heat, and low cooling or tempering work.
