The Jackson SUW-36318 is a black, 24oz vermiculite welding blanket measuring 6' x 8'. Intended to shield personnel and equipment around welding, grinding and flame-cutting work, it can also serve as a hanging curtain using its grommets. Its abrasion-resistant fabric distributes heat evenly over the surface. Other intended uses include furnace work, wrapping pipes and covering machinery exposed to nearby hazardous operations.
