Its triple-spur gearing and sealed, maintenance-free bearings help limit operating effort. Braking combines a Weston-style dual-pawl mechanism, extra-heavy pawl springs and premium non-asbestos discs. An extra-thick ratchet gear helps shield the brake disc against contamination, while Grade 100 chain supports the hoist's heavy-duty lifting application.
