The JET Tools JHBS-916 is a 9" x 16" horizontal/vertical bandsaw intended for industrial use. Its heavy-duty frame combines steel with cast iron, while the saw bed uses a single cast-iron piece. A welded, enclosed base supports the machine. Cleaning access is provided by a chip tray that can be removed, and a limit switch shuts the saw off automatically. Hydraulic feed control incorporates a micro-adjust switch. Each machine undergoes factory testing and setup before leaving production. Product SKU: SUW-222335.

• Cutting capacities at 90°: 9" circular stock and rectangular stock from 1-3/8" x 16" to 9" x 12". At 45°: 6-1/2" circular stock and 9" x 6-1/8" rectangular stock. Throat depth measures 9".
• A belt-driven system provides four blade speeds: 82, 132, 170 and 235 SFPM. Blade dimensions are 1" x 0.032" x 119-1/2", with 4/6 TPI. The precision-cast blade wheels measure 13" in diameter.
• The motor is rated at 1-1/2 HP, 1PH and 230V, with a totally enclosed, fan-cooled design. A 24V control panel is included.
• Blade support combines tungsten carbide slides with ball-bearing guides and a ball-bearing thrust roller. The movable guide arm on the left adjusts capacity between 16" and 7".
• Coolant equipment includes a reservoir and pump, with fully adjustable nozzles supplying the front and rear blade guides. The drive-wheel housing contains the coolant pick-up port, and a quick-check gauge indicates coolant level.
• The quick-set vise swivels 45° and adjusts for cuts from 90° to 45°; the material stop has a 24" capacity. Bed height is 25", and required floor space is 65" x 28". Included equipment comprises a variable-pitch blade, a brush for blade chips, a tool kit, the coolant equipment, the vise and the stop.
