The PeakWorks SA-5502-4 is a 1.2M galvanized cable lanyard with a tear-webbing shock absorber for fall arrest. Under load, the absorber's woven webbing tears progressively to absorb downward force. Its folded webbing sits inside a shrink-wrapped pack sewn near the body connector. This cable version uses plastic-coated galvanized cable, while the PeakWorks SP range includes different arrest-force and worker-weight ratings.

• Cable construction: 1/4" (6 mm) galvanized cable with a plastic coating.
• The compact absorber pack has dimensions of 6" (15 cm), 2" (5 cm) and 1" (2.5 cm).
• Certification: CSA Z259.11-17.
• SP range maximum arrest-force ratings are 900 lbs (4 kN) or 1,300 lbs (6 kN), depending on the version.
• SP range worker-weight categories are 110–220 lb (49–99 kg) and 200–350 lb (90–158 kg).
• Specified deceleration distance is 4 ft at 220 lbs; refer to the manual's chart for lower-capacity values.
