The PETZL CHICANE additional brake enables single-rope use with ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks. It provides continuous additional braking during descent.

The brake and mechanical Prusik work together to support smooth rope movement through the brake while ascending. An ergonomic handle offers a secure grip and facilitates movement when returning along branches. An opening side plate allows straightforward installation.
