The Stormtech HDK-1 Men's Steelhead Thermal Jacket combines a substantial nylon outer fabric with insulated construction for demanding work in severe cold and wet weather. H2XTREME® technology provides waterproof and breathable performance, while STORMTECH Thermal Shell™ insulation and a windproof exterior help retain warmth. An insulated hood, adjustable fit details and protected pockets support outdoor use. The Midnight/ Midnight colour option is offered in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL.

• Weather performance: STORMTECH HD 2-Layer H2XTREME® 5000/5000 construction, a 5,000 mm waterproof rating, 5,000 g/m2 breathability rating and Level 2 rating. Extreme-cold climate rating: -10°C (14°F) to -30°C (-22°F). A PFC-free durable water-repellent finish supplements the shell.
• Materials: the Nylon Taslon Oxford shell blends 55% Regular Nylon with 45% Recycled Nylon and weighs 7.08 oz/yd2 (USA) / 240gsm (CDN). The ripstop lining is 100% Polyester. Recycled nylon forms part of the Pure Earth by STORMTECH™ material approach.
• Warmth and wind protection: STORMTECH Thermal Shell™ insulation uses diamond quilting with a ripstop lining. The outer fabric is 100% windproof, and the quilted construction supports airflow while retaining warmth.
• Draft protection: the full-coverage hood is insulated. Hood and hem adjustments keep the shock cord secured away from the jacket exterior. An insulated stormflap runs the full zipper length on the outside, with a brushed-tricot stormflap behind it.
• Pocket layout: two zippered chest pockets incorporate Polar Pocket Insulation for stored electronic devices. Hand-warmer pockets feature brushed-tricot lining and extra-long zippers for access while wearing gloves.
• Fit and identification: an oversized dropped hem adjusts for additional coverage, cuff tabs allow glove-on adjustment, and an internal loop at the hem provides an ID attachment point.
