- HeartSine Samaritan AEDs come equipped with a large display screen encompassing the front of the unit. The attach pads icon is located in the middle of the screen, the flashing action arrows will indicate it is time to attach pads to the patient. The do not touch is on the left side of the green power button, and the safe to touch is on the right, each has action arrows that will flash to aid in AED usage. The orange shock button (or shock symbol 360P) is in the center of the display screen and notifies the user it is time to deliver a shock.
- HeartSine Samaritan AEDs have a display screen that has the status indicator light at the top, it flashes green when ready to use. If the light disappears altogether, or it is flashing red then the AED has an issue that needs troubleshooting to regain rescue-ready status.
- The smallest, lightest package available makes the unit easily transportable and allows it to fit into constrained spaces. HeartSine also color coordinates the PAD-PAKs for ease of use, with the Adult pads coming in a grey cartridge and the Pediatric pads coming in pink.
